Hand-wash in warm soapy water and dry fully. Keep away from heat — this is a cold-assembly tool. Never twist the form to release; pull straight down. Store the liner inside the form so it keeps its shape.

Pour softened buttercream or ganache into the gap around the cake. Chill — 30–60 minutes in the freezer, or a few hours in the fridge.

Slide off the form, peel away the silicone liner, and smooth the small seam. Sharp edges, glass-smooth sides. Done.

Yes — American buttercream (softened to a custard-like consistency), Swiss and Italian meringue buttercreams, and pourable ganache all work. Whipped cream does not. Every kit includes our tested buttercream recipe.
Bake in the same size pan as your kit — a 6-inch kit pairs with a 6-inch pan. The included crumb cutter trims every layer to the exact fit.
