Cake Form started with a simple observation: the frost-in-place method — stack your layers in a form, pour the buttercream, chill, peel — genuinely changed home baking. For the first time, a beginner could pull off the smooth sides and sharp edges that used to take years of bench-scraper practice.
But the market split into two bad options. On one side, the viral original — beautiful, but $90 to $130+ per kit once it reaches your door. On the other, a flood of $12 marketplace clones with cracked acrylic, warped liners, no instructions, and nobody to email when something goes wrong.
